During this elective, my group and I had to analyze various global companies in order to understand their strategies. Later, we had to give advice on how the company could grow by using (re)designing products or services. I learned how to analyze a company based on the user, customer and market. I was acquainted with the use of Intellectual Property by analyzing Nespresso and learned new methods to enter a market. I learned how to propose a business strategy based on a service instead of a product and how to get the right stakeholder on board. During the individual assignment, I learned how I could implement the learned lessons immediately in my own company. This process was very interesting and boosted the revenue of my company.
