Privacy at WAUD.
This privacy statement explains which personal data WAUD processes, why it is needed and what rights you have.
Who is responsible
WAUD is the controller responsible for the processing described on this page. WAUD is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KvK number 69296278 and is located at Van Utenhoveweg 44, 3439 HB Nieuwegein, the Netherlands.

Data WAUD processes
When you use the project form or contact WAUD directly, WAUD may process your name, email address, telephone number, company, project type, preferred timing, reference link, project brief and subsequent correspondence.
When you visit the website, the hosting provider may process technical request data such as your IP address, request time, requested page, browser or device information and security metadata. The contact form also uses your IP address temporarily to prevent spam and excessive submissions.
Purposes and legal bases
WAUD uses contact and project information to answer your enquiry, assess whether a project is a fit, prepare a proposal and take steps towards an agreement. This processing is necessary for pre-contractual steps at your request or for performing an agreement.
WAUD may also process information to keep business records and comply with tax or other legal obligations. Limited technical data is processed for WAUD's legitimate interests in delivering, securing and maintaining the website and preventing abuse. WAUD does not use project enquiries for unrelated marketing without a separate valid basis.
Contact form and email delivery
The project form sends your submission to WAUD through the website's server and email provider Resend. It is not stored in a separate website database. Resend processes the message content and delivery details to send the enquiry and confirmation email. Resend publishes a 30-day retention period for email and log data on its Free, Pro and Scale plans; account-specific settings may differ. The copy received by WAUD is handled under the retention rules below.
Website, cookies and local storage
WAUD does not use analytics, advertising cookies or cross-site tracking on this website. Session storage is used only to remember that the opening introduction has already been shown during your browser session. This information remains on your device and is not used to identify you.
The website is hosted by Vercel and loads typefaces from Google Fonts. These providers may receive technical request data, including an IP address, in order to deliver and secure their services. Technical hosting and security data is retained according to the applicable provider and account settings.
Sharing and international transfers
WAUD does not sell personal data. Information is shared only where necessary with hosting and email providers, professional advisers, project or production partners, public authorities where legally required, or other parties you ask WAUD to involve.
Vercel, Resend and Google may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, WAUD relies on a European Commission adequacy decision or contractual safeguards required by the GDPR. You can request more information or a copy of the relevant safeguards through info@waud.nl.
Retention and security
An enquiry that does not result in a project is normally deleted within 12 months after the last meaningful contact. Project and contract information is kept while the relationship is active and afterwards only for as long as needed for delivery, warranty, claims or legal obligations. Records that form part of WAUD's fiscal administration are retained for 7 years.
The form's temporary IP-based rate limit expires after 15 minutes. Resend publishes a 30-day retention period for email and log data on its Free, Pro and Scale plans. Technical hosting and security data follows the applicable Vercel account settings. WAUD uses appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
Your privacy rights
You may ask WAUD for access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing based on legitimate interests, or data portability where applicable. Legal exceptions and retention duties may limit a request. WAUD normally responds within one month and may ask for information needed to verify your identity.
Send a request to info@waud.nl. You also have the right to submit a complaint to the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Providing data and automated decisions
Using the contact form is voluntary. A name, valid email address and project brief are required so WAUD can understand and answer your enquiry; without them, the form cannot be submitted. WAUD does not use automated decision-making or profiling to accept or reject projects.
